My Cog and Pearl Rings

have arrived....one is a blush pink and the other is black. So cute!

I would give a shot of me wearing them...but sandpaper-like, wintery hands ain't so pretty right now, trust me!

It's a good Monday

I took a quick trip to visit my sister in her lil thrift store in Jersey City and came back with some great finds!

Some gold picture frames
a silver teapot, which I will use as a Vase for my flowers

This little treasure box, I love, not sure what its original use was

And the best find is 2 of these gorgeous bookshelves, see 1 below.

Don't pay attention to the styling...I literally threw it down there and put some stuff on to see if it would work as a bench. And it does! The other one is upright on the other side of the room

House Beautiful

I was looking through the March issue of House Beautiful that arrived a couple days ago, and LOVED this BIG yellow flower ring in there. It was from COG and PEARL and I noticed the area code was 718! So I googled them and saw they were in Brooklyn. I called and they no longer have that lovely mustard color BUT I ordered a pink and a black! I can't wait to get them.

Does anyone else think its strange to find jewelery in a home mag? : )

HELLO......Pretty hangers!!

I love pretty hangers and especially the puffy satin ones! But you can't have too many because they take up a bit of precious space in our already too small closets. I do think they are great for those special pieces you have or want to display. Or for hanging out your clothes for the next day.

Here I have embellished some pretty satin hangers with 'words' written with yarn!

One says 'Pick me', as if it's calling out for you to wear that outfit!!! The other says 'Hello Pretty'...with Hello on one side and pretty on the other!

CORALINE

We just got back from seeing Coraline, and LOVED it!!! I thought it might be too spooky for a 5 yr old, I just wasn't sure and then to add the 3D part. It was a bit creepy but I got a thumbs up from my lil girl, she really loved it. I didn't think the 3D effects were so awesome, but the movie was!
