Oh December

You've come and gone so quickly and I'm ok with that. December is always such a full month isn't it?
There was a craft show..which is where I left off oh so long ago...



A wonderful visit to NYC for my niece Gabriella's Cast Screening of Doubt.
So much fun!!!

And there were about 4 other Birthdays, and we could go on and on. But I'm glad it's coming to an end and so looking forward to a NEWYEAR!!!!! Of course, my ONE BIG wish is for a new job!!!! So let's hope 2009 brings it!!!!

Crafting away

Hi Everyone... I'll be busy this week getting ready for a show this Friday. Actually, my first one!
So I temporarily removed items from the shop to bring with me!
I'll check in when I can and will try to take pictures!!!!

Make that a Freaking awesome thrifting day!!!! Look what I found today.

An old Wizard of Oz ALBUM!!!!! I love this!!! So great! Also, an old Cinderella, Alice In Wonderland Album, Batman comic book and Superman comic book. Don't you love that!

I almost want to go back and see if I can find more! But I won't. Maybe.

Great mail day!

I'm on my way out to somewhere that I will be waiting a bit of time, so what arrives in the post today right before I am leaving....YES, the Dec/Jan issue of DOMINO!!!!! So nice to receive before I see on the stands, I don't think that ever has happened. Now I will have to stop for my cup of Dunkin Donuts coffee....perfect for waiting rooms! Domino + Dunks!

Yes, I should know better by now to commit full fledge to a date? Right. Well, amongst other happenings I have a sick little girl today. But I will get a listing in the shop, so that the tee's can atleast be 'made to order'. So I will get that in today.

New Re-designed kids T's!

OK, so how about something new and fun to share!!!!

Angel LOVE Tee's

Here's my scrumptious recipe:

1. I start off with a plain crisp new KIDS T-shirt (doesn't have to be crisp : )

2. I then cut out the Angelic wings from a great selection of vintage or new fabric designs

3. Cut out letters to spell L. O. V. E. and hand stitch them on

4. Sew on a super cute lace doily, on the front of the Tee

there you have your Re-designed ANGEL LOVE Tee.......made with lots of love for you!!!!

I'm working on these T's right now and they will be in the shop FRIDAY, NOV. 14th.

I am so proud of our country! So very proud!!!

I was so freaking excited about voting today? You too? Did anyone else sneak a cell pic like I did. I was afraid to get in trouble. I really wanted to take a bunch of pics, for example when signing in, when they give you the ticket, etc. But I was too chicken and didn't want to hold up the line. But THIS DAY could be historic!!! I'm sooo hoping it is!

And my daughter came with me, which was wonderful! There she is standing by the sign.

New cards by Design her gals

New calling/ Biz cards from Design-her-gals! I really could of spent hours upon hours on their site creating different girls with great outfits, so I did this one rather quickly and just stuck with it! Otherwise, indecision would have gotten the best of me!

This 1st photo is a 'Dottie Angel' slip. This is her photo by the way. The half slip one on top is mine. And let me tell you it is even more beautiful in person!!! So lovely.

This photo is all Anthro goods except for the obvious iPod! I was thrilled to pick up a copy of Tricia Guild's Pattern book, that I wanted forever, only now on sale. And these 2 great cropped jackets one in a Pale pink and one in brown. And that colorful number on the left is a really comfy and cute robe!!!

Hello Friday!!!

This is the cover of the Neiman Marcus Home Book, I love the colors and symmetry of it!
We have a little Halloween event to attend this evening, it's a kids thing. We have Cheerleading tomorrow. This is also a Birthday weekend for me, so I'm looking forward to that. Even though rain is predicted. I'll have to squeeze in some Bday shopping too!

I really do love this store. You can find the cutest things, such as this Welcome Hook!!!

I've been wanting a hook or hooks to hang behind my living room door since forever but they were always 'boring' or 'plain'....so when I saw this one, I loved it instantly. For #16.99.. you can't beat it!

In the works....

This is something I was making today. A little giraffe drawing and then a matching stuffy.
I loved the idea, but the execution of making this stuffed giraffe is taking way more time than I expected... and as you can see is still not finished. His head still needs it's spots and a face would be nice. But not tonight, I'm beat.
Off to watch some tele and catch some ZZZZZZ.
